New lures for Michigan Bucketmouths

Any new bass fishing tips for those of us in Michigan?

Well, there are some exiting new lure coming out this year that should work well in Michigan..

One of the newest just hit the market, Gary Yamato’s Shad Worm. Pros have been testing it for a few months now, before it became available to the public. They have given it rave reviews.

Another new lure that just came out last year is the Chatterbox. It has already made a huge ‘splash’ on the tournament circuit, proving to be an ultra productive lure under many conditions. It’s like a cross between a buzz-bait, and a jig.

There are several new ‘Swimbaits’ out this year. Swinbaits are consistent producers, and are definitely in the Top Ten big bass lures.

This one isn’t even out , yet (as of Jan 2011), but Zooms Swimmin Super Fluke is due to be released soon. It is unique in that is it a soft bait, with a swimming tail, but it does not need the addition of a jig head to make it swim upright. It can be threaded onto a straight hook and fished like a jerk-bait. Neat!

Other great new lures are Yum Money Frogs, Gary Yamato’s Senko, the Vibra-Flex Double Willow, and the Kick-Tail Minnow.

Happy fishing.
