When bass fishing in Lake Fork, is there a trick to catch them?

Lake Fork in Texas is well know for its bass fishing action. In fact, it is incredibly popular the world over, with many individuals planning their vacations around a visit to the lake. It is certainly an unusual body of water to fish on in terms of its components and the conditions bass fishing enthusiasts have to adapt to. However, the largemouth bass population there is most definitely an attraction in itself. One of the tricks you may like to use in order to catch bass at Lake Fork involves one of the many weedless lures out there. Whether you like using frogs, buzzbaits or torpedos, weedless lures are best used at Lake Fork becuse much of the water has underlying vegetation that you will not be able to see. Geting yor line stuck is not ideal given that you will disturb the water too much and scare the bass away. Weedless lures provide a much smoother fishing experience and a much better catch rate as well. Lake Fork is quite deep with rocky outcrops and plenty of hiding places for the bass so fish deep if out on the lake and close to vegetative areas and rocks on the shore. The bass will be incredibly active in spring and summer and so will happily bite if you fish near their hiding places. If you are fishing in winter then you will need to fish deep and perhaps use a buzzbait in order to naturally move the water and capture the attention of the bass.
