What techniques can I use for bass fishing in Canada?

Bass fishing enthusiasts travel all over the world to enjoy their hobby in different conditions, different waters and with different bass. Of course, they develop preferences for certain areas and certain lakes over the years but they always use the same techniques that they favour no matter what. As such, it is fair to say that individual bass fishing enthusiasts use the same techniques regardless of where they happen to be fishing. If you are fishing for bass in Canada then you should be using the same techniques that you do anywhere else. Every bass fishing enthusiast should use techniques that he or she is comfortable with, but you might want to develop a few just in case one technique does not work at a specific time or in specific conditions. Bearing in mind that the temperatures in Canada are often lower then they are elsewhere in spring and fall, it is worth varying techniques regularly. Fishing the vegetation and weedlines from the bank is often popular because that is where the bass tend to hide when they are cold. Alternatively, fly fishing in the late spring will often turn out to be quite productive because the fish will follow the bait. No matter what techniques you use, make sure that you are completely comfortable with them because there is nothing worse than trying to use techniques that are difficult or do not feel right. The idea is to enjoy it so make sure you do just that, no matter where you are fishing!
