What is the best bass fishing lure?

When it comes to choosing the best possible equipment for heading out onto the lake or river to fish for bass, everyone wants to know what is best for them. Which lures should they use? Is there one definitive lure that they should use? Believe it or not, there is no single answer to that. Every bass fishing enthusiast has their own favourite lure and you will eventually find that you prefer one too. However, in the meantime, you should try using several to find out which ones feel comfortable and read about the various ones avaiable to get an idea of which ones you can use in certain situations. My personal favourite is the plastic worm purely and simply because it is so versatile and can be used in all weathers, all waters and under all conditions in the top and mid waters. It will glide through vegetation without getting stuck and can easily be manipulated to look like food to largemouth and smallmouth bass alike. As such, it can really help you to up your catch rate and can turn a day around if you have had little success in using something else! The plastic worm is so versatile and easy to use that it is virtually impossible to fail to catch anything with it. It is incredibly attractive to the bass and can be used all year round. However, you might also want to try the spinnerbait or crankbait, both of which also come highly reccommended. Jigs and spoons perhaps work best in deeper waters.
