The title implies that there are 650 hints and tips that every bass fishing enthusiast can use to improve his or her tactics, strategies and catch rate. Weiss, one of the most respected outdoor pursuits authors, is wrong. The title should be “The Best 650 Tips And Tactics”! The book is awesome and is a definite must read for every bass fishing enthusiast out there! Whether you are going fishing for bass for the first time or have been every day for the past ten years, there is no end of information that you could take away from this book that can be practically applied and will prove to be useful! There is so much information in this book that you will not find anywhere else – guaranteed! It deals with the biology of the bass, scientific explanations for a number of tips and practical look at it that you just will not find anywhere else. All of these tips are organized in numbered form under chapter headings that are relevant so you do not have to search and search for the information that you are looking for. You can go straight to it, get what you need and apply it straight away. As a result, it is a must read and must carry with you for every bass fishing enthusiast!

Secrets of a Champion: Bass Superstar Reveals His Winning Tips by Kevin Van Dam, Louie Stout, and Bill McElroy (May 2002)

And finally, another book by Kevin Van Dam. This time, the champion bass angler tells his story. You can actively learn from it and apply his techniques to your time out on the lakes. It comes in a more easy to read form than the previous book mentioned, but should be a companion of it in order to use it to the fullest extent possible!
