Big Bass Fishing Strategies – How To Haul In The Big Boys

Try a black beetle spin or a yellow headed jig. You can even try a cricket or red worm on the head of the jig to attract the attention of the big bass. Another good tip for getting bass to bite is to use black worms on dark days or something like a red or watermelon colored worm on clear days.

But, perhaps the best tip for catching really big lunker, is to take the advice of the old timers and those you see having good luck, and just find what works best for you, and Have FUN!  One of the worst aspects of fishing is when you get stuck in a rut.  If you find yourself doing the same things over and over again, without results, chances are you need to change something up.

It goes without saying that you should also invest the time in finding out what’s in the water. Some seasons there may be smaller bass out there.  In other situations, you may think you have the largest. Also, check in with the locals. Many times, the best big bass fishing strategies are those that come not from the experts but the true experts of your area.  Talk to the locals to find out what type of fishing is out there and their best strategies.
